Not every day do we get the chance to work on something this meaningful. Designing a website for a company at the forefront of AI and brain health was our small contribution to something big—something that could genuinely improve lives.
icometrix is a global leader in AI-powered brain imaging analysis. They help clinicians and researchers make faster, more accurate decisions in neurology. Their software is used in over 100 countries and plays a critical role in both clinical practice and research across conditions like MS, TBI, and dementia.

The Challenge
When icometrix approached us, their existing website didn’t reflect their cutting-edge technology or global presence.
It felt outdated, overly clinical, and lacked emotional connection. For a company working at the intersection of AI and something as deeply human as brain health, this is a significant concern.
Additionally, they wanted to move their website to Wix Studio. This transition would provide them with more flexibility and scalability, and that’s how they found us.
While their technology had evolved rapidly, their brand and website hadn’t kept up. As a global leader in AI-powered brain imaging, they needed to look the part. The way a brand presents itself online influences how it’s perceived by clinicians, researchers, and partners alike.
They had recently completed a rebrand with a talented team of interns from a university in Belgium. To be honest, we usually prefer to take on projects from the ground up because coming in midstream can be tricky. However, in this case, the strategic and visual foundation was solid. This made it inspiring rather than limiting. We stepped in just in time and helped refine the final logo mark to ensure it felt confident and relevant alongside their partners and competitors.

The new website had to be ready for their rebrand launch at a major annual conference where icometrix would take center stage. With a clear deadline, we started building their new website.
The Process
Our first priority was to map out distinct user journeys for icometrix’s core audiences: clinicians, researchers, and investors. The client already had a clear vision for the structure. Our role was to shape it into an intuitive content architecture that made it easy for each user to find what they were looking for.
Using Wix Studio’s scroll animation, we highlighted the core of their product—the ability of AI to detect the tiniest changes in the brain.

From product pages to clinical evidence, everything was carefully structured to support intuitive navigation and a logical flow. We built dynamic, interconnected databases that allow content to be filtered by audience, topic, or need. This made the experience seamless for users and future updates effortless for our client. That is always our goal, and that is the very reason we love Wix Studio.
It was one of the first projects where we implemented Wix Studio’s newly launched mega menu feature—previously something that required custom coding.
The Results

The website was ready in time for their rebrand launch and annual conference, where it received overwhelmingly positive feedback. It was a pleasure to work with a team that not only recognized the need for change but also brought a clear vision—especially when it came to content. That clarity made collaboration easy and purposeful.
Building this site was a powerful reminder that even the most technical product needs a human story. With icometrix, we were able to merge science and empathy into a digital experience that speaks to both the brain and the heart.
The Importance of User-Centric Design
User-centric design is crucial in today’s digital landscape. It ensures that the needs and preferences of users are prioritized. This approach not only enhances user satisfaction but also drives engagement and conversions.
Understanding User Needs
To create an effective website, understanding user needs is essential. This involves conducting research, gathering feedback, and analyzing user behavior. By identifying pain points and preferences, we can tailor the website to meet specific requirements.
Creating Intuitive Navigation
Intuitive navigation is key to a successful website. Users should be able to find information quickly and easily. This can be achieved through clear menus, logical categorization, and a search function.
The Role of Visual Design
Visual design plays a significant role in user experience. A visually appealing website can attract and retain users. It is important to use colors, fonts, and images that align with the brand and resonate with the target audience.
Ensuring Accessibility
Accessibility is a vital aspect of web design. Websites should be usable by people of all abilities. This includes providing alternative text for images, ensuring keyboard navigation, and using readable fonts.
Continuous Improvement
Web design is not a one-time task. It requires continuous improvement based on user feedback and changing trends. Regular updates and enhancements can keep the website relevant and effective.
In conclusion, building a website for icometrix was not just about creating a digital presence. It was about crafting a platform that reflects their mission and values. By focusing on user-centric design, we were able to create a website that resonates with their audience and supports their goals.
